Setup happens at home. Riding is execution, not configuration.
Install free. Tap “Start free trial” when you’re ready — 14 days of every feature unlocked. Then $24.99/year or $4.99/month, or stay on the free Odys Lite tier. No Odys account, ever.
Tap the states you need on the map in settings. The app downloads OpenStreetMap vector tiles for each — a few hundred MB to over a gigabyte per state, so do this at home on wifi, not at the trailhead.
Share sheet from Files, Mail, Safari, Dropbox, Google Drive. Or in-app picker. Folder library handles multi-day routes cleanly — one folder per route.
One folder drives the ride at a time. The HUD, segment pill, GPS snap, and distance math all derive from it. Other folders stay on the map as ghost references.
First launch tap Connect Device in settings. Standard BLE pairing. Group channel setup via QR code. Done in under 5 minutes.
Heading-up map. Position arrow. HUD with speed, elevation, distance to segment end. Lookahead camera frames the route ahead. Auto re-center returns to your position after you panned to look at something.
