What’s included

• OpenStreetMap vector basemap available for 27 US states covering every Backcountry Discovery Route and major ADV corridor: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine.
• Roads, trails, and place names rendered from OSM data, legible at riding zoom.
• Download the states you need, when you need them. Each state runs from a few hundred MB to over a gigabyte — do it at home on wifi.
• Tiles stored on-device for as long as you want. Update or delete any state from settings to reclaim storage.
• Online OSM basemap available when you have cell signal and haven’t downloaded the state you’re in.

What’s not included

• A cloud login that can lock you out.
• A media subscription bundle.
• Separate contour, USFS, or land-ownership layers. The basemap is straight OpenStreetMap — no extra overlays to toggle, nothing else to learn.
• Per-state purchases. Every state is included with your subscription; you choose which to download.

Why per-state, not pre-bundled?

Because each state runs from a few hundred MB to over a gigabyte, and shipping all 27 inside the app binary would put a 20+ GB install on your phone before you’d ridden a single mile. Better to let you grab Washington before a WABDR trip and leave Maine on the shelf until you’re going east. Download at home on wifi or over cell for smaller state files; the tiles stay until you delete them.
