What you see

Each rider appears as a colored dot — one unique color per rider, persistent across sessions. Tap a dot for name, speed, elevation, distance along the route from your position. Stale positions fade in opacity over time so you can see who’s reporting and who’s gone quiet.

What you send

Your position broadcasts on a schedule (default 30 seconds when moving, 2 minutes when stopped). Five alert types — SOS, Assistance, Oncoming, Wait Up, All Clear — travel the same mesh as high-priority packets.

The five alerts

• SOS — 2-second hold. Opens a full-screen overlay on every rider’s phone that must be explicitly dismissed.
• Assistance — single tap. Mechanical, fuel, minor injury.
• Oncoming — single tap. Vehicle or hazard coming the other way.
• Wait Up — single tap. Regroup at your position.
• All Clear — single tap. Cancels the previous alert.
